Zombie Apocalypse- p1

I held my back against the door, panting like a tired dog. It shook for a second time, and Ryan found himself again and tackled the door with all his strength. Andrea was sitting on my sofa, knees pulled to her chest. I gripped my chest close, and worked up enough strength to talk.

"So.... anyone having fun yet?" I half-whimpered.

Both Ryan and Andrea gave me a glare.

A bloody hand broke through the door of the window, and it was followed by screams. I noticed that one of the screams was my own. I stood, and wielding the axe, hit the arm as hard as I could.

"THAT'S for keeping me from my shower!!" I screamed as I attacked.

The bloody face of a human appeared, and I hesitated to hit it for a second. It roared, blood flying into the room. I decided to hit it, and the axe found it's mark on the zombie's forehead. It gurgled in agony before backing away and dislodging the weapon.

"Nice shot." Andrea commented.

"Thanks, I try." I replied.

The sound of shuffling and gurgling grew closer and closer. I knew it was only a matter of time before the zombies got here.

Then it would be payback time.
